The Yellow Bloodwood is an extremely versatile tree, succeeding in many difficult sites, and in many different soil conditions.. It develops a scaly yellowy brown bark, with thick curved leaves of a bluish grey colour. In Spring, it becomes engulfed in a blanket of fluffy white flowers, that will attract native parrots and alike into your growing space. It is fast growing, with a single trunk and a spreading canopy, making an excellent shade tree. The yellow Bloodwood is tolerant of many conditions, including drought, and would make a fine addition in any difficult area.
This tree is predominantly used in streetscapes, parks, and gardens, and thrives in most soil conditions.
