The Citriodora is a widely popular Australian native, grown in many location throughout Melbourne. It is well known for the lemony scent that’s emitted from its foliage year round, providing a beautiful aroma in any space. The Citriodora has a lush dark green foliage, and works wonderfully as a free standing shade tree. It is tolerant of sandy soils, as well as wet or high-clay areas. Can be susceptible to frost at a young age, but once over 1m in height, it will tolerate some frost with ease. Dream-time do also grow a Corymbia Citriodora Dwarf variety (Sentuous). The Dwarf is grafted and will only grow to a maximum of 6-7m, but maintains the same features of its taller counterpart. The dwarf is ideal for that native feel, in areas with height restrictions.
This tree is predominantly used in streetscapes, parks and gardens, and thrives in most soil conditions.
