The KPS (Kings Park Special) is a short growing, well known bottebrush that provides an excellent street tree or shrub. It is able to grow in difficult, short and narrow sites while still providing a dense, showy plant. It is very effective planted en masse, or as a single standing tree where height or width is restricted. Beautiful as a tree, and equally as elegant as a simple shrub. It develops a stunning red bottlebrush, which can be up to 12cm long, throughout spring and into late autumn. This species will flourish in a site where it can receive plenty of sunlight, and in many soil conditions, from sandy to clay-filled soils, providing they are well drained. Some irrigation throughout the summer heat is suggested, however in many cases do need very little attention once established.
This tree is predominantly used in streetscapes, parks and gardens, screening, and thrives in most soil conditions, including sandy and clay-filled soils.
Available in pot sizes:25cm,30cm and 40cm
