The Forest Sheoak is predominantly found throughout Victoria, as well as southern NSW and parts of Tasmania. It is known for its deep fissoures throughout the bark, and its seasonal colour change as it turns a dark burgundy colour for half the year.. It flowers during the winter, developing very small rounded cones. It is an upright growing tree, providing for narrow growing spaces.With its beautiful appearance, and seasonal changes, you'll never get bored of the Forest Sheoak.
This tree is predominantly used in parks and gardens, and thrives in most soil conditions. It is extremely heat tolerant, and requires very little irrigation once established.
