The River Sheoak is predominantly found down the east coast of Australia, from Victoria to Northern Queensland. It’s a late summer flowering tree as it develops a woody cone containing over 700 viable seeds per gram. It grows into a 16m tall tree with a well-developed trunk, making an excellent windbreak when many are planted together. It is both tolerant of drought conditions, and of seasonal water logging.
This tree is predominantly used in parks and gardens, and thrives in most soil conditions.
