A fast growing deciduous, the Red Pear is a hardy, medium growing tree that develops a vibrant display of colour in the Autumn. It can be used in a wide array of sites, and is excellent to provide a splash of colour or contrast within any sized garden. With glossy, dark green foliage during summer, watch as it gradually turns to a yellow, orange and red, during autumn, before falling and sending the tree into its resting state. In maturity, it will form a nice round/oval shape in a rather short amount of time, meaning the Red Pear will be hitting its beautiful peak in no time.

This tree is predominately used in streetscapes, parks, and gardens. Typically performing well in most soil conditions, they do prefer full sun with well drained areas.
