With its weeping branches and a wondrous display of vibrant pink flowers, the Lagerstroemia indica (or Pink Crepe Myrtle) is a beautifully crafted tree. Its foliage is a vibrant, glossy green when in full flower, turning to an orange before dropping. Multiple stems create a broad spreading crown covered in a smooth cinnamon-brown to orange bark.  A handsome tree, the Pink Crepe Myrtle is a great choice for any location.

This tree can be used in parks, gardens, street planting, shading, and many other locations. Requires adequate water when establishing, but after that can be tolerant of heat and some dryness. Best planted in moist, well drained area.
